The PV3000 Platform Validator is designed specifically for the use in Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) systems for public transport where outdoor use is a must, e.g. on ferries, trams and railway stations.
The PV3000 supports all major smart cards compliant with ISO 14443 Type A and B standards, Felica, and Vicinity (13.56 MHz).
The powerful processor ensures a high-speed transaction processing.
The PV3000 is equipped with the EMV3000 contactless card reader, which is EMV L1 certified, EMV L2 certified for Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover, and PCI PTS POI 5.1 certified.
Four SAM card slots for holding payment SAM cards ensure the security and integrity of the transactions.
For user ergonomics, the PV3000 is equipped with a 480x640 5.7” graphic TFT display.
Optionally, the PV3000 can be equipped with a barcode reader module.
